With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William H. Wierman of Hanover, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 1, 2025 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William H. Wierman to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Francis Wierman and Josephine C. Wierman (Carbaugh); his siblings, Jean Bealing, Nina Rider and Richard Wierman; his granddaughter Amanda Sneeringer; and his great grandchild Ava Lawrence.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Wierman (Wise); his children, Ann Wierman and Billy Wierman of Hanover; his sisters, Rosemary Krepps (Francis) of Hanover and Sister Ann Marie Wierman (McSherrystown); his granddaughter Ashley Mayr (Ryan); his great grandchildren, Chloe, Connor Sneeringer, Hadley and Harlow Mayr; and his sister-in-law Susan Wierman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A prayer will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc. (311 Broadway, Hanover, PA 17331). A Mass will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (5125 Grandview Rd, Hanover, PA 17331).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5055 Grandview Road, Hanover, PA 17331 or to the Hanover Council of Churches, 136 Carlisle Street, Hanover, PA 17331.
