He was predeceased by : his parents, Edward Gieza and Irene Gieza (Lach); and his brothers, Edward, David and James Gieza.

He is survived by : his wife Joyce Ann Gieza (McLaughlin); his daughter Therese Geiza; and his brother Robert Gieza (Karen Katt).
