With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gerard Eugene Merritt of Harleysville, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 14, 2025 at the age of 55. He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Merritt and Annette Merritt (Parsons); and his father-in-law Anthony Dellanno. He is survived by: his wife Marianne; his children, Rebecca (Zach Hudy) and Brendan; his grandchildren, Oliver, Orion and Parker Hudy; his mother-in-law Carole Dellanno; his siblings, Howard (Celeste Merritt), Mike (Jen Merritt) and Kendy (Jeff Vernitsky); his in-laws, Caroline, Frankie Cruz, Anthony, Lori Dellanno, Jr., Christopher, Gloria Dellanno, John and Cristina Dellanno; and his nephews, Courtney, Anthony (Ashley), Carli (Summer), Michael, Matthew (Deanna), Damon and Addison Haylie (Samantha). He is also survived by many cousins, friends.
