She was predeceased by: her husband William Alan Doubleday; her parents, Alfred Weidner and Johanna Weidner (Herney); and her siblings, Manfred Weidner and Roswithe Knobel.
She is survived by: her sons, William Wendel Doubleday (Mary) of Snohomish, WA and Edmund C. Doubleday of Philadelphia.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home (701 Derstine Ave, Lansdale, PA 19446). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in Inge's memory to an animal welfare fund of one's choice.
