John E. Schilling Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John E. Schilling of Harmony, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 12, 2025, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid John farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For John is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Schilling, and Margaret Schilling, Sr. (Bach). He is survived by: his son Richard; his daughter-in-law Dorothy "Dot" Schilling; and his grandsons, David Schilling (Mellissa), Mike Schilling (Brigette), Drew Schilling and Matt Schilling (LeighAnn). He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Divine Grace Parish (311 Lawrence Ave, Ellwood City, PA 16117). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
