He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. Paulus, Sr. and Pearl Paulus (Simmons); his wife Margaret "Marge" Paulus (Messinger); and his son-in-law Richard Winston. He is survived by: his children, Donald E. Paulus (Denise) of Penn Valley, CA, Sandra K. Winston of Harrisburg and Ronald A. Paulus (Lori) of Santa Monica, CA.; his siblings, Doris Gochenaur of Mechanicsburg, Viola Matthews of Elliottsburg and Creedin Paulus (Jo Ann) of Mechanicsburg; and his grandchildren, Stephanie Yee (Josh), Kaitlin Kellogg (William), Carrie Warner, Paris Winston, Kirsten Paulus, Madison Paulus and Alexander Paulus. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
