She was predeceased by: her husband John Zavidny; her siblings, Bernice LaPreta, Frederick and Joseph Pospychala; her son-in-law Thomas Watkins; and her parents, Stanley Pospychala and Stella Pospychala (Solesky).
She is survived by: her children, Mark Zavidny (Lisu), Robin Watkins (Tom) and Penny Kane (Jim); her granddaughters, Valerie Sarel (Ryan), Ashley Watkins and Lily Zavidny; her great grandchildren, Scarlett and Audrey Sarel; and her sister-in-law Beverly Pospychala. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and childhood friends of over 80 years.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Szal Funeral Home, Inc. (238 Helen St, McKees Rocks, PA 15136). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 10:30 AM and from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A burial will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the Resurrection Cemetery (100 Resurrection Rd, Coraopolis, PA 15108).
