With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Arline Markovitz of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 18, 2025 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Arline Markovitz to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Steinberg and Sylvia Steinberg (Jacobs); her husband Harold Markovitz; her brother Dr. Arthur Steinberg; and her granddaughter Bari Sternberg.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sheryl Sternberg (Richard) of Monroeville, Bonnie Schatz (Michael) of Ambler and Marcie Engelson (Jon) of Denver, CO; her grandchildren, David, Elyssa, Harris, Samuel and Matthew; and her great grandchildren, Nissa, Morgan, Rosie, Sylvie, Florence, Charlotte and Emilia.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Beth El Cemetery Chapel (1100 S Progress Ave, Paxtang, PA 17111).
