He was predeceased by: his parents, Kostandinos Gaitanis and Ourania Gaitanis (Drellias); and his brother Ioannis Gaitanis. He is survived by: his wife Polyxeni "Polly" Gaitanis (Psaras); his sister Dimitra Gaitanis of Thermo, Greece; his children, Rania Sweigart (Timothy) of Adamstown, PA and Dean Gaitanis (Christy) of Harrisburg, PA; and his grandchildren, Alinda, Anthony, Thanna, Jamie Sweigart, Claire and Athan Gaitanis.
Viewing was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Catherdral (1000 Yverdon Dr, Camp Hill, PA 17011). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
