He is survived by: his adoptive daughter Nyjah; his godchildren, Moe and Juwyna; his siblings, Anna Moreland (Terry) and Wayne Brown (Angela); his sister-in-law Artha Lee Brown; his fiancée Zelda Deriso; and his close friends, Terry Moreland, James "Junebug" Pindell, Larry Kelly and Harvey "Hop" Carter. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins.
