He is survived by: his wife Karren Gilchrist; his children, Lisa Gilchrist and Calvin Gilchrist II; his siblings, Kim Gilchrist Jarrett and Dwayne Gilchrist; and his grandchildren, Nadiyah Powell, Calvin Gilchrist III, Joey Powell Jr., Nasir Powell and Harper Kellam.
