He was predeceased by: his parents, George Dodd and Eva Ingram (Penn-Dodd); and his siblings, Robert Wayne, Marshall, Conway Dodd, Barbara Jean Evans and Evangelist Rebecca Brooks Charles.
He is survived by: his children, Brian Jackson of California and Angela Jackson of Atlanta; his sisters, Myrtice Davenport, Wanda Lou Jackson (Moses), Brenda Turner and Helen Kelly (John) of Winston Salem; his aunt Alma Sherrod of Washington, DC; his sister-in-law Essie Dodd (Friend) of Harrisburg; and his brother Phil Overton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Wallace Funeral Directors Inc. (106 Agnes St, Harrisburg, PA 17104). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
