He is survived by: his wife Carol Murphy; and his children, Jodi Basili (Brian), Ronald Murphy, Steven Murphy (Glenda), Lisa Piergallini (Paul), Scott Weidner, John Weidner (Crystal) and Kenneth Brandt (Lisa). He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; twenty‑two great‑grandchildren.
