She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethel Banks and Monroe Banks. She is survived by: her daughter Tyronda E. Carter; her grandchildren, Timothy Carter, Jr., Titus Carter and Tylynn Carter; and her sisters, Sandra M. Rawls, Janet L. Banks and Willie Buie. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and close friends.
