Edward D. Ogden Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward D. Ogden (Harrisburg, Pennsylvania), who passed away on September 18, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Edward may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Edward touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend Ernest Ogden and Isabelle Clark-Ogden (Hopkins); his grandparents, William and Anna Butler; and his brothers, George W. Clark III and James Ogden, Sr..
He is survived by: his children, Edward Ogden, Jr., Earl Warren and Crystal Ogden; his brother Victor Ogden, Sr.; Frances Adams. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
Viewing was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hooper Memorial Home Inc. (3532 Walnut St, Harrisburg, PA 17109). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
