He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Hunter Sr. and Jessie Hunter (Sloane); his siblings, Yvonne and Elmer Jr. "Toot"; and his daughter Nikki.
He is survived by: his wife Lois "Sissie" Hunter; and his children, Kevin Reid, Shawn Burton and Kimberly AAbdul-Aliyy. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Wallace Funeral Directors Inc. (106 Agnes St, Harrisburg, PA 17104). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
