He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Stein and Lena Stein; his stepmother Ida Stein; and his brother Paul Stein. He is survived by: his wife Harriet Stein (Kaufman); his stepchildren, Susan Kopp (Sheldon) of Harrisburg, David L. Desfor (Donna) of Mechanicsburg and Michael E. Desfor (Thida) of Thailand; his sister Charlotte Spitz of Harrisburg; and his grandchildren, Alex Kopp, Sarah Kopp (Robert Penrod), Daniel Kopp, Isaac Kopp and Matthew Desfor.
