It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ida Mae Hatcher (Harrisburg, Pennsylvania), born in Winchester, Virginia, who passed away on May 16, 2026, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Brooks and Ida Mae Walker Brooks; and her siblings, Julia Carter, Mary Carey, Joseph Brooks, Sheldon Brooks, Harvey Brooks, Mildred Plummer, Sara Lloyd and Robert Brooks.
She is survived by: her children, Jackie Hatcher, Glenda L. Ceaser, Richard "Jeff" Hatcher and Lamont Hatcher. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends.
