James R. Prifer Obituary
The memory of James R. Prifer (Harrisburg, Pennsylvania), who passed away on September 26, 2025 at the age of 91, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry and Alice Elizabeth Prifer (Gately); his son James "Jim" D. Prifer; and his siblings, William "Tiny" Prifer, Jack Prifer and Elizabeth Kershner.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Prifer (Keefer); and his daughters, Robin Feathers of Hummelstown and Kim Peck (Terry) of Carlisle. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Cathedral of St. Patrick (212 State St, Harrisburg, PA 17101). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
