He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael F. Lynott and Violet Lynott; his uncle Harold "Houck" Sutter; his grandson Gavin Lawrence; and his brother-in-law Richard Smith.

He is survived by: his wife Sharon Lynott; his children, Roxane O'Malley Duryea (Michael) and Sean Lynott (Traci); his grandchildren, Drew, Mick O'Malley and Garrett Lawrence; his great grandchild Alistar Lawrence; and his sisters-in-law, Joanne Smith (Keith Garcia) of Idaho Springs, CO, Toni Patterson (Don) of Palestine, TX and Lynn Vigil (Mike) of Salida, CO. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
