It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mahlon L. Warfel of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 9, 2026, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mahlon O. Warfel and Mary Elizabeth Bordner Warfel. He is survived by: his wife Lorraine E. Koppenhaver Warfel; his children, Bonnie E. Lubold (Bob) of Halifax, Tracey Warfel of Pine Grove, Cindy Snyder (Rich) of Dillsburg, Anita N. Weikel (Joshua) of Harrisburg, Lynn C. Schadle (Diane) of Gratz, Steven J. Schadle (Stephen Pacetti) of Harrisburg and Becci S. Schrock (Mike) of Harrisburg; and his siblings, Gloria Patton of Millersburg and Richard Warfel (Carol) of Herndon. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
