He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Sheets and Margaret Sheets; and his wife Sandy Sheets. He is survived by: his daughters, Jami Powell (Tom) and Tammy Sheets; and his sister Debra Stickles. He is also survived by four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter.
