We announce the death of Nelson R. Gonzalez (Harrisburg, Pennsylvania), who passed away on September 26, 2026, at the age of 75. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sofia Rodriguez-Goitia and Antonio Delgado Velez; and his siblings, Roger Gonzalez, Richard Velez, Angel Velez and Rosa Velez.
He is survived by: his wife Aurea Gonzalez; his children, Walter Gonzalez, Nelson E. Gonzalez (Carmen), Sofia Malone (Rock), Lisandra Gonzalez, Luis Gonzalez, Roberto Gonzalez, Heather Courtney, Felicia Courtney, Ashley Gonzalez and Jordan Gonzalez; and his siblings, Wilfredo Gonzalez, Gladys Rosa (Hector), Mayra Sierra (Israel), Wilson Velez, Jackie Sastoque (Carlos) and Cynthia Lugo (Hector). He is also survived by his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
Viewing will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wallace Funeral Directors Inc. (106 Agnes St, Harrisburg, PA 17104). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
