She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Wagner Armstrong and Ruth Armstrong Challenger (Strange); her husband William T. Green, Jr.; her grandsons, Kristoffer Holmes and Raefon Dayhoff; and her stepfather Walter Challenger.
She is survived by: her close friend Wakeel Abdu Saleem; her children, William T. Green III (Belinda), Kristoffer P. Green, Shevette D. Beamer and Nicole M. Dayhoff (Troy); her siblings, Connie (Armstrong), Parkes (Roger), Marsha Bailey (Sonny) and Walter "Bud" Challenger; and her sister-in-law Sylvia Green. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, and twenty-three great-grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends.
