She was predeceased by: her father Francis Dougherty; and her sister Bethany Dougherty. She is survived by: her mother Catherine Dougherty of Cumberland, RI; her children, Jamie Hamod of Gainesville, VA, Brandy Headlee (David) of Elizabethtown, PA, Andrew Dougherty-Hamod of Elizabethtown, PA and Aaryn Mazzio (CJ) of Harleysville, PA.; and her siblings, Frank Dougherty (Lori) of Smithfield, RI, Peter Dougherty (Joan) of Tennessee, Paul Dougherty (Linda) of Boston, MA, Cate Dougherty of Cumberland, RI and Mary Dougherty (Edward Caouette) of Chepachet, RI.. She is also survived by five grandsons and one granddaughter.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home (757 Mendon Rd, Cumberland, RI 02864). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Historic St. Joseph Church (1200 Mendon Rd, Woonsocket, RI 02895). A burial was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Mt. St. Mary Cemetery (661 Prospect St, Pawtucket, RI 02860).
