He is survived by : his pet Ronnie; his wife Hiroo (Heena); his children, Shefali, Sangita, Sundar and Pranav; his grandson Aryan; and his siblings, Vinod, Smita, Sam, Ranjana, Achala and Ashok. He is also survived by his nieces/nephews and his grandnieces/nephews.

This was emulated in his own non-profit organization Being Helpful Foundation, which focused on providing monthly support to people, children and pets in need.
