He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter B. Sherer and Irene Sherer; his siblings, Emma Sherer, May Sherer, Cora Spain and William Sherer; and his nephew Jimmy Wallace, Jr. (Walter).
He is survived by: his great-nieces, Antoinette Byrd (Christopher) of Harrisburg, PA, Tamara Smith (De'Anthony) of Lake Wylie, SC and Destiny Sherer of Harrisburg, PA; his sons, Antonio Blackstone of Harrisburg, PA and Davis Sherer of Harrisburg, PA; Desiree Sherer.
