He was predeceased by: his parents, William McCahan and Sophia McCahan; and his son Mark W. McCahan. He is survived by: his wife Shirley McCahan; his daughter Jill Miller (Stanley); his grandchildren, Benjamin Miller (Alexis) and Emily Miller (Zachary); and his great grandchild Carson Miller. He is also survived by 3 nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to West Hanover Township Fire Company.
