We are sad to announce that, on October 4, 2025, at the age of 92, Josephine Walter of Harrison City, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Dominic Varuolo and Isabel Varuolo (Sites); her husband George Edward "Ed" Walter; her son Michael Joseph Walter; and her brothers, Dominic Varoulo, Jr., Raymond Varoulo and Frank James "Jimmy" Varoulo Per.

She is survived by: her sisters, Gloria Jean Travis, Jacqueline McDermott, Lillian Satira, Patricia White and Edna Satira; and her niece Joie Lynn Bigler. She is also survived by thirteen nephews; four nieces; and 22 great-nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Westmoreland County Food Bank (https://westmorelandfoodbank.org).
