He is survived by: his wife Andrea; his children, Andrea H. Roberts (Alan), Christine H. Vereb (Jeffrey) and Robert Alan Handyside; his granddaughters, Michelle N. Vereb and Dr. Stephanie V. Sweeney (Ryan); and his great grandchildren, Thomas "Tommy" Sweeney and Edith Rose Sweeney.
