It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glenda E. Eakin of Harrisville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 18, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Glenda departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Glenda may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Glenda leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Alonzo and Florence E. Miller (Thompson); her husband Harold Leroy Eakin; and her sister Donna Scott (Richard Scott). She is survived by: her children, Gerry L. Eakin (Debra), Kathy A. Grossman (Eric Eckstrom) and Gene A. Eakin; and her nephew Richard Scott. She is also survived by four grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.
