With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Verna M. Richards of Harrisville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 21, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Verna M. may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Verna M. touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert J. "Buss" Hoover and Betty Lou Hoover (Eperthener); her former husband William D. "Willie" Richards; her daughter Carla Sue Mack; and her siblings, Katherine J. Davis and Albert J. "Buzz" Hoover.
She is survived by: her husband W. D. Richards Trucking Co; her son William D. W. "Willie" Richards (Crissa Mershimer); her grandson Terrance "TJ" Mack; her great grandchild Briella Leitch; and her siblings, LuAnn Hoover and Art Hoover.
