He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Piatt and Marie Piatt; his sister Helen Friend; and his nephew John Piatt (Jed). He is survived by: his wife Joyce Piatt; his children, Jack Piatt (Patty), Ann Fire (Joe), Dean Piatt (Amanda) and Crystal Nicols (Cory); his grandchildren, Gwendolyn, Brock, Tanner and Landon; his siblings, Chuck Sherretts (Cecilia), Henry Piatt (Nancy), Terry Piatt (Georgia), Tim Piatt and Darlene Reiser (Al); and his friend Daniel Abramson (Abe). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the following community services: Greenwood Fire and Rescue Department 40, Fallowfield Fire and Rescue Department 45, or Geneva Memorial Cemetery.
