He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his sons, David Hoetzlein of Harwick and Daniel Hoetzlein (Jennifer) of Sarver Many; his great-nieces, Angela and Danielle; his great-nephew Geno; his siblings, Lawrence, Francis, Edward, Thomas, James and Betty Wilson; and his brother-in-law Robert Gilmore (Donna).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Tarentum Lion's Club or Guardian Angel Parish.
