He was predeceased by: his sisters, Betty Gillespie and Kathy "Linda" Haggar. He is survived by: his wife Sara Sharkey; his sons, Andrew J. (Kate) and Daniel J. Sharkey; his grandchildren, Leah M., Jackson J., James P. and Benjamin F. Sharkey; and his brothers, Earl Gillespie and Brian Sharkey.
