He was predeceased by: his parents, Vasile Trifan and Gherghina Trifan; and his brother Sorin Trifan. He is survived by: his wife Cristina Trifan (Radu); his children, Daniel Trifan and Juliana Magyar; his son-in-law Ethan Magyar; and his niece Victorina Trifan.
