He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Xavier and Hazel Cherry; his son William C. Cherry, Jr.; and his siblings, Robert, Francis and Alice Bell.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Cherry; his sisters, Helen Wolf (John) and Margaret Cherry; and his sister-in-law Barbara Cherry (late Robert). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:20 AM and at 10:30 AM at the St. Stanislaus Catholic Church (51 Lansdale Ave, Lansdale, PA 19446).
