William Shields Obituary
It is with sadness that the passing of William Shields of Hatfield, Pennsylvania is shared. William, born on June 3, 1949, passed away on October 26, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
William will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor William by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though William is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. William’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Shields and Marian Shields (Thompkins); and his brother Thomas Shields. He is survived by: his wife Lucy Shields (Perry); his children, Perry Shields (Regina) of Allentown and Victoria Shields of Lansdale; and his grandson Jackson Shields.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (1000 W Main St, Lansdale, PA 19446). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
