He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Margaret "Peg" Gallagher; his children, Joseph R. Gallagher (Leslie), Catherine G. Thomas (David) and Margaret Ann Whelan (John IV); his grandchildren, Harper, Jackson, Isla, Evie, Alison, Kennedy, Johnny, Ryan and Emma; his siblings, William (Colleen), Thomas (Marita), Mary Jane Gallagher, Debbie Hicks and Christopher Gallagher; and his parents, William Gallagher and Joanne Gallagher. He was also cherished by his family, his enduring love for his wife.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:20 AM at the Stretch Funeral Home (236 E Eagle Rd, Havertown, PA 19083). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Denis Church (2401 St Denis Ln, Havertown, PA 19083).
