It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Veronica O'Neill of Havertown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 31, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert J. O'Neill; and her parents, James Sweeney and Mary Sweeney. She is survived by: her children, Debora O'Neill (late R. Bruce Morrison), Brian O'Neill (Susan) and Karen Spohn (Peter); her grandchildren, Shannon Schriver (Robert), Patrick Morrison (Catherine), Casey Morrison (Brendan Smith), Thomas Spohn (Heaven) and Joseph Spohn; and her great grandchildren, Roman, Gia, Shawn, Samuel, Nathan, Frances, Penelope and Tessa.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:50 AM at the St. Denis Church (2401 St Denis Ln, Havertown, PA 19083). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the St. Denis Cemetery (2401 St Denis Ln, Havertown, PA 19083).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mrs. O'Neill's name to Cardinal John Foley Regional Catholic School, 300 E. Eagle Road, Havertown, PA 19083.
