Mildred Mitchell Collier Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 4, 2025, at the age of 96, Mildred Mitchell Collier of Havertown, Pennsylvania, born in Orlando, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Mildred Mitchell may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Mildred Mitchell touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Mitchell, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Mitchell (Grizzle); and her siblings, Samuel Mitchell, Jr. and Altamese Nelson. She is survived by: her daughter Michelle; her grandson Collier Pierson; her son-in-law Edward Pierson; and her sister Anna Mitchell. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.

Millie (as her masonic friends called her) remained busy with these organizations until the pandemic in 2020.
