He was predeceased by: his parents, James Jamison and Mary Jamison; and his siblings, Jim Jamison and Helen Helms. He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Jamison; his daughter Joanne Lawson (John); his granddaughters, Jennifer and Jacqueline; and his brother Bob Jamison (Mary Ann). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

“I shared many laughs with Dick in our time together at St. Andrew School. He was part of our small contingent of men at the school. We would often give him a hard time about being out running so early in the morning. He would return the ribbing just as often when one of us would do something odd. It was my pleasure to write a feature article about Dick when I was also a writer for the News of Delaware County. He was a shining example of what a man was supposed to be to all of the kids and adults”
