He was predeceased by: his son Adam Shiffer; his siblings, Tim Shiffer and Janet Smith; and his former wife Carol Lenhardt. He is survived by: his wife Ann L. Shiffer; his son Matthew J. Shiffer (Jeannette); his sister Linda Renninger; and his friend Bridge. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
