He is survived by: his wife Veronica Ann Merrill (Aarne); his children, Jason Merrill of Hawley, PA, Sandra Merrill of Bronx, NY, Edward Merrill of Dillon, Montana and Laura Merrill of Naples; his granddaughter Layla Rahman; and his sister Deborah Godfrey of Spring Hill, FL.
