She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Giles and Helen Alberta Giles (Wright); her husband Michael George Slifko; and her brothers, Dwayne and Gordon Giles.
She is survived by: her sons, Timothy (Carey Slifko) and Matthew Slifko (Punita Hanspal); her grandchildren, Caden, Kelton, Taylor and Claudia Slifko; her sister Sandra LaPointe of Beach Lake, PA.; Jacquelyn Barna.
In leiu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Indian Orchard Cemetery to support the ongoing care and maintenance of the grounds, c/o Wade Seam, 2017 Roosevelt Hwy, Honesdale, PA 18431.
