He was predeceased by: his parents, Ann Barkus (Klosick) and Frank Barkus; his wife Nancy Barkus (Henderschedt); his brother Robert Barkus; his sister-in-law Ann Barkus; his brother Francis Barkus; his brother-in-law Charles McColey; and his siblings' children, Rosemarie Barkus and Robby Barkus.
He is survived by: his daughter Tammy Barkus Jones (Joe Machesko); his granddaughter Serena Doris Jones of New Ringgold; his siblings, Ronald Barkus of Hazleton, Dale Barkus of Lewisberry and Martha McColey of Royersford; and his sister-in-law Carol Barkus of Hazleton.
