With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Henry George Freeman (Hazleton, Pennsylvania), who passed away on April 10, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Henry George find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may his legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilhelmina "Minnie" Freeman and George Freeman. He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann Freeman (Whaley); his daughter Carol Lee Vitro (Victor) of Hazle Township, PA; his siblings, Jeanette Granum and Larry Bohm; his mother-in-law Catherine Cook; and his pets, Bailey and Scrappy.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Faith Ucc Church (21 Faith Dr, Hazleton, PA 18202). A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery (26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, DE 19966).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Legion in your area in memory of Hank.
