Joanne D. Bard Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Joanne D. Bard (Hazleton, Pennsylvania), born on June 5, 1930 in Easthampton, Massachusetts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Joanne will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Joanne by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Joanne is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Joanne’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Donais and Maryon Donais; her husband Samuel H Bard, Jr.; and her sisters, Carolyn, Sylvia and Norma.
She is survived by: her children, Steven, Peter (Carol), Timothy (Allison) of Sayre and Denise. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Friends may visit Wednesday, October 14 at Fierro's Funeral Home from 11 to 1, her interment will be private In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations made to Meals On Wheels at 1058 Peace St., Hazle Township, PA 18202 or All Care Hospice at 1710 E. Broad Street, Hazleton PA 18201.
