Marylou Smith Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marylou Smith of Hazleton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 23, 2026 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Seesholtz and Helen Seesholtz (Zullick); her husband John "Jack" Smith; her daughter Lynn Highland; her siblings, Howard Seesholtz, Ruth Zierdt and Jean Seesholtz; and her son-in-law Thomas Highland.
She is survived by: her son Richard Smith (Kyle Ann) of Lehighton; her granddaughters, Jordan Highland of Williamsport, Kelcie Christner (Liam) of California, PA and Amy Shanton (Matthew) of State College; her great grandchild Cooper Christner; and her sister Lois Cesario of Harleysville.
Memorial Donations to the Trinity Lutheran Church, 100 North Church Street, Hazleton, PA 18201 are welcomed by the family.
