She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Wendel and Catherine Wendel (Gabos); her sister Jean Drasher; her brother-in-law Cal Drasher; her sister Jackie Nicolardi; and her brother-in-law John Nicolardi.
She is survived by: her friends, Barbara Kostick, Pat Pavlick and Linda Roskos; her close friend Carol Cauley; her husband Martin Heaney; her children, Jeanne Plesh (Larry) and Martin Heaney Jr. (Mary Lou); her grandchildren, Maddison Plesh, Alec Plesh and Maria Harding (Mike); her great grandchild Owen; and her sister Anita Baldari.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Grace Church (750 N Vine St, Hazleton, PA 18201). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Calvary Cemetery.
